We got to meet my sister Sarah's baby in June on his one month birthday. We traveled to SoCal as soon as school got out and were ready for summer to begin. Alas the weather was actually worse than the bay area, but that didn't dampen the sunshine that little Luca brought. He is so cute and such a good baby! Sarah is a really laid back mom, especially for being a first timer...you know how first time moms can be! We also got to see Rhett and Monica which was wonderful because they are going to be in short supply once they head to Tennessee for school. We squeezed a lot of things in our quick weekend trip. The beach, the pool, a baby blessing, a luau, and of course nana and papa's new hot tub!! The definite highlight was little Luca, love those tiny baby heads! It did confirm to me though that I am done. I loved holding him and changing him, but I also like handing him back to his mommy and getting to sleep through the night. Love you Luca!
