Earth to Julie
So I came out this morning to make the kids some chocolate milk and I open up the cupboard to grab the cups and this is what I found...

DRAT! No milk for breakfast. I HAD to be tired last night when I was cleaning up.

Romeo, Romeo where for art thou Romeo...
Mia LOVES the song "Love Story" by Taylor Swift. You won't be seeing her on America's Got Talent any time soon, but it's still pretty cute.

Happy Birthday to our Middle Man!
ZERO:

ONE:

TWO:

THREE:

FOUR:

July 14, Kai Samuel came into our lives 2 minutes after midnight. He's four and so much fun. We dedicate this oldie, but goodie to you Kai. We love you!
"You got a smile so bright
You know you could have been a candle
I`m holding you so tight
You know you could have been a handle
The way you swept me off my feet
You know you could`ve been a broom
And babe you smell so sweet
You know you could`ve been some perfume
(Chorus)
Well you could of been anything that you wanted to
I can tell
The way you do the things you do.
As pretty as you are
You know you could`ve been a flower
If good looks were minutes
You know you could have been an hour
The way you stole my heart
You know you could have been a crook
And baby your so smart
You know you could have been a school book
Well you could of been anything that you wanted to
I can tell
The way you do the things you do.
You make my life so rich
You know you could`ve been some money
And baby you`re so sweet
You know you could have been some honey
Well you could of been anything that you wanted to
I can tell
The way you do the things you do."

Book list
This post is more just to help me keep track of my summer reading.
So far this summer I've read:
My Sister's Keeper-Jodi Picoult
Memory Keeper's Daughter-Kim Edwards
The Guardian-Nicholas Sparks
Dear John-Nicholas Sparks
Daughter of Fortune-Isabel Allendale
Three Cups of Tea-David Mortenson
Emma-Jane Austen
Bridget Jones' Diary-Helen Fielding
Bridget Jones' Edge of Reason-Helen Fielding
and currently...Madame Bovary-Gustave Flaubert
I have to say Three Cups of Tea by David Mortenson is AMAZING! It reads like a fiction novel and it is a completely true story. You have to read this novel it will not disappoint. It was so inspirational when I first got done with it I vowed that I would pledge $5, for every person I got to read the book, to David Mortenson's foundation. In a nutshell, this guy goes over to Pakistan to climb K2 in honor of his deceased sister, but his attempt to summit fails and on his way down from the mountain he runs into this tiny town and he see's the children drawing multiplication tables in the dirt and studying without a teacher and he promises to come back and build a school for them. It was a long, frustrating and frequently scary process, but he did it. Now more than 10 years later he has helped build over 90 schools in Afghanistan and Pakistan. His philosophy: Peace through education. Please read. http://www.threecupsoftea.com/

Camping at New Brighton
New Brighton State Beach is a campground I have been going to since I was small. It's about 15 minutes south of Santa Cruz and it's so unique because the ocean meets the forest so you have the best of both worlds. My mom has all the beach pics, so hopefully I can add those soon. Here is a slideshow of our camping trip. There are a couple extra pics that didn't fit into the slideshow format so I added them below.

Out of commission
Our computer is whacked out and stopped working for like 10 days, but Aaron fixed it last night and I am so grateful. I feel connected to the world again!
